Global Pain Relief Foundation, Ltd. Global Pain Relief Foundation is a Vermont-based non-profit organization formed to provide therapeutic pain management and education in developing countries lacking resources. WE INTEND TO: Create volunteer teams of pain specialists, nurses and medical students to provide treatment and to educate indigenous care providers in current pain therapies Establish a network of GPR sites comprised of several small hospitals (some already existing) in Mwandi, Shiseke and Sioma, Zambia, as well as Selian Masaai Hospital in Arusha, Tanzania Develop a new clinic site near the Congo-Angola border in northwestern Zambia, for refugees from these countries Collect and deliver medications, medical supplies and equipment to GPR educational and treatment sites Procure two mobile medical/surgical units to provide modern imaging and advanced pain therapy treatments to the network of GPR centers in each country Please look further to see how you can directly assist our work.
